Sustainability is very important to us and the use of metal tins is very much a part of that. Did you know that recycling metal uses 90% less energy than recycling glass and that metal has a significantly higher recycling rate?

Tips for Candle Care

Proper care for your Immortal Candle and Wax Melts is essential to ensure a long-lasting and captivating experience.

  • Keep your candles away from drafts

  • Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use
  • Allow the entire top layer of wax to melt into a full pool to avoid tunneling

  • Never leave a lit flame unattended

  • Never burn a candle or wax melt for more than 4 hours

  • Place your candle or wax burner on a heat proof surface

  • Store your candles and wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

  • Keep away from children and pets

Recycling and Re-purposing

Cleaning out your tin for recycling:

If you pop your tin in the freezer for a few hours, then carefully break up the remaining wax with a butter knife, you can wash it out with warm soapy water and either recycle it in your green bin, or re-purpose it.

Ideas to re-purpose your tin

  • Add some potting soil to your tin and plant some seeds. Perhaps create a herb garden to sit on your windowsill

  • Reorganise your bathroom, dressing table or desk to store things like cotton buds, makeup brushes, jewellery or pens in your tin

  • Use it to store sewing kit bits like buttons, thimbles or needles

  • Send it back to us for our specialist re-filling service and enjoy a 15% discount on your next candle!
